This Privacy Policy explains how SnapGuess ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

a. Automatically Collected Information

When you access the App, we automatically create an anonymous user ID to maintain your game session and preferences. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number unless you voluntarily provide it for support purposes.

b. User Content (Photos & Videos)

The core functionality of SnapGuess involves sharing photos and videos. We collect images and videos you explicitly choose to upload from your device's Camera or Gallery. Important: These files are uploaded to our servers temporarily to facilitate the game round. They are NOT permanently stored and are designated for deletion after the game session ends.

c. Device Information

We may collect info about the device you use to access the App, including the hardware model, operating system and version, and unique device identifiers (for Firebase Analytics and crash reporting).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality.
• To facilitate multiplayer game sessions (showing your photos to other players in your lobby).
• To process transactions (via RevenueCat for subscriptions).
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or illegal activities (e.g., NSFW content filtering).

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, analytics, and crash reporting.
• RevenueCat: To manage in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Railway: Our backend hosting provider where temporary game data is processed.

4. Data Retention

We retain your anonymous user ID and subscription status as long as you use the App. Game content (photos/videos) is transient and is removed from active server memory/storage shortly after the game round concludes.

5. Your Choices & Rights

• Account Deletion: You may delete your anonymous account and associated data directly within the App's Settings menu.
• Permissions: You can revoke Camera or Photo Library access at any time in your device settings, though this will limit App functionality.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
