LookUp - Video Teleprompter — Last updated: 10 September 2026
LookUp is a teleprompter tool that lets you record with the front camera while reading your script. Your scripts and videos stay entirely on your device; none of it is uploaded to our servers. The app uses a single third-party service, for purchases only. This policy sets out exactly what goes where.
No account
The app does not ask you to register or sign in, and does not request personal information. We do not collect your name, email address or contacts.
Camera, microphone and your scripts
LookUp uses the front camera and, to record sound, the microphone. The scripts you write and the videos you record are stored only on your device and go nowhere unless you save them to Photos or share them yourself.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Your payment details never reach us. We use RevenueCat to manage whether your Pro entitlement is active. It processes an anonymous install identifier and your purchase/store transaction records for this purpose; that identifier does not contain your name, email or Apple account.
What we don't use
LookUp does not use any analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK, and it sends no push notifications.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights and deleting your data
Delete your scripts and videos from within the app, or delete the app to permanently remove all local data. To request deletion of records held by RevenueCat, write to the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page and the date above are updated.
